It's been years since I reloaded, I used IMR 3031 for my .308 / 30.06 rounds. There are alot of new powders out now, good luck in your search. Corrected..

Varget
tried it and 4350 years ago, only load Varget since that test

For my M1A-NM I load 39gr IMR4895 with a 175 SMKs.
I shoot it at NRA 200yrd, 300yrd, & 600yrd matches.

I was a dyed in the wool Varget guy until this last round of shortage and the abysmal market shortages at any given time. I HIGHLY recommend the Shooters World S-062, it’s an equivalent to Varget that’s plentiful and IMHO I’m getting better more consist results.
