??? 308 reloading

Chuckdog is on point and has a wealth of information to share. I have used and like IMR 4064 in my .308's for years. My powder measure will chop it up a bit as it's a rather long extruded powder but it gets great results in my .308's. I also like the inexpensive Lee dies and will also get the factory crimp die for use in both semi and bolt/single shot rifles. If you have never reloaded bottle neck metallic cartridges, don't forget case lube. I started using spray on lube a year or two ago and it works great.
This past year I tried AA# 2520. It is a smaller ball type of powder and in my match grade powder measure it spills out of the thing all over my bench. Other than that it works well in my semi-auto .308's.
Here is loading data for IMR 4064 and others in their web center loading data. You may not be able to directly link to it, due to a disclaimer you have to acknowledge http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

OBTW anyone who has not tried the spray on lube, you are doing yourself a disservice. I used another brand but I'm sure these will do about the same. http://www.midwayusa.com/Search/#case%20lube%20spray____-_1-2-4_8-16-32
