I have found the plated bullets are more accurate than the jacketed in many handguns. They fit tighter in the bore and seal better. They are soft enough to swage down to the bore size like cast boolits do. And no lead vapor to boot like you get with open bottom FMJs.

Just dont put a heavy crimp on them.

slight taper crimp only to remove bell.
