And for me either one works. I'm just as fast with my .357. I own and carry both, so I have no bias. Numbers don't lie, though. Foot pounds of energy are greater in .357, and when it comes to handguns and power, that really is the bottom line.
I'm not going to completely discard the work this guy put into his research. It tells us what it tells us, and I believe 9mm is better for most people, overall.
I've seen quite a bit of research on this topic and .357 SIG is a powerful, effective, and quite manageable handgun. If I knew I was walking into a gun fight and had to choose between my 19 or 32, I'm choosing the 32. No question. Of course if I was walking into a gun fight my handgun caliber would be one of the last things on my mind.
