4-minute AK fixes

1. Stirring the pot
2. $200 for HS2000 was a good deal, despite the grip safety. $600 for the same gun is stupid.

When the HS2000 first hit the market I picked one up for a tad over $200. I bought it as a reliable range gun that I could loan to students that needed to borrow a handgun. For the price, you couldn’t beat it.

Yep. I remember Shotgun News with ads for it. At one time they were going for $180, IIRC. Being broke at that time was not fun. :)
Or $300 Saigas, or $50/1000 ammo. I complained when I had to pay $75/case, but in AK, mail ordering the ammo was not an option.
Those were the times!

Based off of reliability requirements of a certain poster, I would have to say:

Rock > all firearms

A Russian rock never needs lubrication, runs the same wet or dry, and is good for MILLIONS of throws. Your puny western firearms would wear out long before then!

Anyone who disagrees doesn't understand true reliability!

Worth twice as much if stippled!
