I spend most nights watching the sportsman channel. Its driving me crazy.

Exactly why I took up coyote hunting at night.
Haven't got a damn coyote all summer but have spent countless hours in the woods in the pitch black.....it's friggin awesome hunting all year round even if you don't get anything.

Jumped countless deer and last weekend had a darn possum almost land on my head while it was climbing down a pine tree.
Amazing how many creatures will walk right up to you in the dark.
Me and my hunting buddy like to play "Name that animal."....lol.

I just checked one of my cameras at a new spot an hour ago and had a couple big, fat doe videos to watch.
I heard something sneeking up behind me so after I watched my videos I stood up and there went a white tail bounding away from me.
Couldn't tell what it was as I just saw tail and rear.

29 days! I sigted in the crossbow last night. I have it dead nuts at 50, 40, and 30, and 20. I want to get 60 locked in over the next week or so.

I'm about to order my swivel chair. I'm going to ground hunt a lot more this year. I always see deer when I'm on the ground. Screw a stand... lol

I have always done just fine on my feet or in the pocket of a tree such as this.

Ashamed to say I haven't done any prep work for the season, but I'm ready to be in a stand!
