@ Vincent Vega, you better hope for some rain on those food plots, or the birds will pick them clean. We had no rain this weekend and none in the forecast for this week. My sorghum is about two feet tall and needs rain badly. I was hoping to have it ripen the first part of gun season. Planning to put seed down on the weekend of the 15th, depending on the weather. I'll be planting in between morning and evening hunts.

Yes they are. I found the motherload of Water Oak and a few Red Oaks. White Oaks are looking really good too. I saw quite a few of them with limbs hanging low and pointing to the ground. This is the third year in a row that we’ve had a bumper crop like this.

That's the same situation I'm in. It's almost bad because I've got oak everywhere so there's not a certain area that they go to for the acorns. lol
