We will be having our annual hunt again in 2013. The dates are February 15-17. We are continuing to grow bigger and better every year. We have some awesome sponsors lined up for this year so the prizes will be even better. Check us out online and more details will be posted as we establish them.

Thanks for the support

Don't jump all over me.... most clubs I belong to have a clause that states if I see a yote.... I have to shoot it..... but I have seen numerous people who actually hunt them on a regular bases, what do you do with them? Is it just to control the population? Is there any money in the skins? Just curious.....

Most of the skins here aren't worth but 5-10 dollars if they are really good. The main reason for hunting them is the tole that they take on the deer and turkey population. They also work on the calves pretty good.

If you have land with coyotes and know a little about coyote hunting its not impossible to kill coyotes. If I can answer any questions about the contest or about coyote hunting feel free to ask.

How much is it to sign up

How long does it last

What is an estimated number of other hunters anticipated to arrive

Approximately how many coyotes are on the land

How much land is there to hunt

Thanks

You hunt your own land or any land you have legal access to. We will have a meeting on Friday night and will have check in on Sunday. Last year check in was at 2pm. Sign up cost was 125 a team last year and if you are a member of the GPHA you got 10 off per member. We had 18 teams last year and expect the numbers to go up this year. Our first place prize money is unbelievable this year and the prizes are getting bigger and better every day. If you have specific questions feel free to call me at 478-952-2571. We don't have an official time set yet but I will post information as soon as its developed.
