I do have a saws all. Would definitely be easier

You might still be able to find a local mechanic that you think could do it and one that is willing to try.

Mine waited for six months at least and I did plan on doing it before I found a guy.
Luckily it worked out.

Some what of an update. So I picked up some items to start on the bearings and forgot I loaned out my Jack stands to a buddy that is on vacation so I get to procrastinate a little longer

I believe I'm going to just wanted to know how big of a pain in the a** it's going to be.

Pretty large, but depending on the subframe, it’s better than pulling the motor.

Might be the flex plate.

Lot of times those sound like a rod.

I pulled the plugs one at a time when I pulled #3 it stopped knocking so I'm pretty sure it's the #3 rod
