Post pics when done!Every one I've bought from Publix has the bones cut off and tied back on. This year I'm going to try something different. I'm going to mix my Herb de Provence ( my preferred seasoning for rib roast) and garlic with some softened butter. I'll remove the bones and smear the butter on the roast and re-tie the bones. Then I'll smear the rest of the roast and cook on my pellet grill. I have lofty aspirations for this cook.
Wow that's a great price on standing rib roast. The last time I bought one I got three bones and it was a hundred bucks.Pretty damn sure they are losing money for every pound they sell.
I would have guessed a food shortage this winter but it didnt happen.
Sad to see the Ranchers are probably getting pinched with all the inflation on feed but hey...just in time for the holidays. Git Sum!
