556 end cap on 30 cal can?

To me, one man’s opinion, there is not a significant enough difference, as it will go subsonic regardless. “Crrraack”. Never going to be ‘movie quite’. Either way - with exact cap or not - it can be bearable to shoot without hearing protection and that’s the best you can hope for. If you want quiet, you need to go subsonic- like .300 blk.

Just remember to take that .22 cal cap off when running your .30 cal rounds. I didn't get a .22 cal cap for my Omega for fear I would forget.

Did that with my Optimus. Still don't know how, since I never use the .22 end cap when shooting .22. Thank god for the baffle retention ring. No damage to the can, just my ego! Never found the endcap.
