I use both Remington and SSA brass. Both seem to be quality brass. Point of impact is a little different using the same load in each but the grouping stays pretty consistent. Since I load the .223 in bulk I have alot more small rifle primers so as I wear out the Reminton brass I'll probably transition to SSA brass only depending on availablity. I wish I hadn't seen pictures of that rifle. Now I want one. That has to be a sweet shooting gun in 6.8. Not near as much recoil as a .308.

I just bedded the action this evening and gave it a good cleaning. I'm going to drop a scope on it in a few days and I'll see.Were can you buy SSA brass from?

best price I found was directly from their website. www.silverstatearmory.com $41.95 per 100 for small primer

Everywhere, including Silver State has been out for a while. I was able to get some Remington brass from Powder Valley. I ordered 2 bags of 50, and got em' today.

I had a bunch of Cabela's points stored up so I ordered Brass, bullets and dies.

Here's a pic of Montanas' first target with factory Remingtons @ 100 yds. I'd say it shows great promise!
