65 Falcon Wagon

Just added another one to the fleet
My 21 yr old son bought this falcon wagon recently

302 with a lumpy cam
C4 auto trans
Front Disc brakes
AC that doesn’t quite blow cold enough

Doesn’t look as good in person
It’s a little rough around the edges

The paint looks good in pictures but horrible in person
They painted over all the nicks and dings without repairing them
Only rust we could find was in the floor and spare tire well
I’m sure there’s some more lurking somewhere we didn’t test with the magnet

Needs some work to fix the minor stuff

We have converted all our other old cars from carb to EFI with five speed manuals
Haven’t decided about this one yet

I got more pics and a walk around video I’m trying to post

Need some R12?

It’s not nice at all right now
The front seats are ok
Aftermarket corbau I think
Seatbelts are mounted under same bolts as seats
Which is bad enough but they didn’t but a large washer or metal backing plate under the floor

Temp gauge is the only one that works
Oil
Pressure and Speedo are not working

Dash is all hacked up around the radio

The back seats need new foam and cover
The door panels are homemade
Carpet is terrible
Nice project. Mostly cosmetic from your list that can be completed over time. Will be super nice when done.

It sounds even better in person

I’ve never heard a small block ford 302 sound so mean

The PO has those done
Had a receipt for like $350
for pipes from the long tube headers to in front of the wheels with some racing mufflers

Who knows how much it would have Been to go over the axle and out the back

Looks very nice! The '64/65 models have squared body lines that really fit a station wagon. You'll really love owning it.

Now you can join the Falcon Club of America - you can find parts and attend the national & regional shows if you want. I have met a lot of nice people, bought parts and driven around the Charlotte Motor speedway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway as part of the Falcon club events there. You and this wagon would be great new members!
