Tank was bought new in 2008. Modified the filler neck to work with the car. Probably only ever saw 10 gallons of gas before project was scrapped. Tank has some junk in it but is solid. Measures 35-3/4x 29-1/2"

Don't need the tank but curious what happened to the Fairlane build?!
I found a better car to build. The 68 was a sedan and needed a lot of work. And it was a just a sedan...
Gotcha! Thought about restoring my great grandmothers 68 Fury 4 door about 4 years ago. It's been sitting back in the woods as long as I can remember (since late 70's/very early 80's). Would have been cool to fix her car up and drive it around but after lots of consideration I decided it wouldn't be worth the $ I'd have to put into it and I already have too many half started projects as it is, so I decided against it in the end.
Bump before the dump. Would make a good equipment fuel tank. Make it what you want.
