Describing this as anti-asian is just as ambiguous as saying he didn't like strip mall employees. There are a ton of asian owned/operated businesses between his spots. He didn't target restaurants. He clearly is targeting people he suspected of being prostitutes and any discussion of their ethnic background is just a distraction.

sex workers are a protected class though, even more so than Asians. The media will spin it as he was a racist who wanted to kill Asians. That fits their narrative and willingly ignores the prostitution. For a group that is supposedly so against human trafficking, they always seem to turn a blind eye when an industry that is at the heart of the issue is involved.
