same stand as last year
same trail as last year, the Deer have used this same trail since 2013
this year a single hog as been coming around from the spring to the trail always around 0200 hrs

acorns are dropping early this year

I went out for a couple hours this evening on my newest ladder.
Was able to spot some on a lower trail
And they came up towards me after I thought they were headed across the creek and up the other ridge but they turned and came my way.
I’m sure fatal obsession has nothing to do with it.
It was a really dark gray young 8 point and a 4 pointer.
Both abojt the same age , need about two maybe theee more years for the 8 to be fantabulous.
I’m sure there’s a max daddy in there.
I still haven’t seen that real high racked six since last season.
Hopefully nobody took him cause he was gonna be a real impressive buck.
I’m thinking he’s hunkered down in the creek bottom and bamboo.
I know where to sit if I want a glimpse of him….hard drag out of there though.
