20 minutes before sundown I heard some movement. Then 70 yards straight behind me this deer takes off running hauling ass. He ran right down by my stand and went right running like he got shot at. I had the wind in my face and Im guessing he busted me and felt the best course was to run like hell. He was every bit as big as those 2 from last year if not bigger. Smart boy.

Saw zero movement this evening, aside from a couple of squirrels.

2 doe and 2 fawn came back @7. 3 lil bucks walked circles around me tree for 30 mins. At 7:30. Saw a total of 16 turkey. 3 big toms. Dang good time today

Arrows are like bullets once the trigger is pulled it’s gone. I did kill 3 one year with the same carbon arrow. But I don’t worrie about them if I can’t find em

If I can get a trail camera to see what time these deer are trotting by I might have a shot at one. Deer tracks are everywhere. I’ll probably give Monday another try.
