I was watching one on the far hill and some unknown deer just snuck up behind my blind and started blowing like crazy. Can’t win em all.

Had a young 4 pt walk up near my tower.
I let him walk....still needs a couple more years to grow.
15 min later a small mama doe with one spotted fawn came through.
She had the fawn working point already....nice work mama!
Yes I let them walk...lol.
10 min after that something blew at me when my phone buzzed from a text.
Looks like the batchelor group that was together split up now and I’ve seen the deer change patterns in all my hunting spots now.
Which means they’re actually coming by my favorite climbing trees.
Gonna try suches tomorrow in hopes of running across one of those big black bears.
I let him walk....still needs a couple more years to grow.

My trail cams tell me all my bachelor groups have broken up, too. All the velvet is gone, also.
You had to mention bear. Now I'm thinking about slipping along a high ridge I know of. Like I don't have about a dozen other hunts I want to do already. LOL!
