9/18 Hunt.

I did an evening hunt at a spot I don’t care for but my buddy hunted it in the morning and saw a big doe by herself and strongly encouraged me to hunt it.
My gut told me to hunt one of my ladders in a different spot but I didn’t.
Didn’t see anything, zero wind, stagnant air , sweating like a pig….still nothing beats being in the woods.

PHe may have a hankering for some sambo

Might have little dude walked up to the tree and looked straight up at me. Didn't even flinch just went back to eating beauty berries. On a serious note I've never seen one in velvet while in the stand. And I've never seen one with its sack black like that. Made me wonder if something was wrong with him. They were swollen too Iitseemed. Never seen a sack that big on spike.. the odd observations in the woods
