Well, I definitely learned something new. I had no idea the recording started as soon as you dialed 911, I was wondering about the sound of the caller breathing before the operator answered the call. Sounded like good advice though as to what to say and hang up, I never have liked the idea of saying "I was in fear for my life" because it sounds so scripted. I just pray to God I never have to make one of those 911 calls.

I believe 5:45 is where they actually start telling what happened. Didn't watch whole video, but basically:

20yo son misbehaving who is supposed to be helping care for his grandmother he is staying with
Gets in argument with Dad who recently had open heart surgery (scarred vocal cords made his voice sound higher)
Punched Dad in the chest
Dad drew gun, warned him, reholstered
Son punched him in the chest AGAIN.
Shoots son in the leg to stop him.
Calls 911
