96 Jeep XJ clutch issue? Help!

The master and slave took care of the issue. Drove it for a couple hours and no problems shifting. Before it would only go about 15 minutes.

I'm worried more and more that this thing just needs a complete rebuild. I've never heard of a clutch malfunctioning only when heating up...
I called a transmission shop and explained the issue, but they were thinking I would be going overboard by rebuilding the tranny. I'm thinking that might be what it needs though.

I had a 92 Wrangler back in 2011. The slave cylinder went out on it right after I got it. On top of that it started popping out of gear when I was in 5th gear at highway speeds. I know there's a cult following for the 4.0 liter and 5 speed combo but I don't see it.
