Have a 1998 Chevy SWB Truck for sale - runs great - 4x4 works great -- all new A/C completely - Automatic, has newer tires with about 12-14k on them - brakes are good -- Just had transmission fixed and is currently under a 1yr warranty- This is a work truck model, no carpet with a vinyl bench seat - truck has been used for work, farm and hunting, it is not beat up but it is not show room either, it has scratches and a few dings but no big dents or body damage - it is straight and in good shape for the year - currently has 178,000 on Odometer - it has the Vortec 350 motor and the 4L60E automatic transmission - the 4x4 works from a floor shifter. everything on this truck works except the cassette player. understand this a a no frills truck, but since everything works but the cassette deck, is it safe to assume it has cold AC?

all new A/C completely - yes Air is cold and all works good, everything on the a/c was replaced with the exception of the condenser and it was cleaned and put back in - also a recent tune-up about 3,000 miles ago - plugs, cap and button, egr- etc.

Just a question here are you sure its a 98? I think in 98 Chevy had the double headlights. I May be wrong.

I'm positive it is a 1998 -- all you have to do is run the V.I.N. # and it gives you make model year of vehicle -- This is a W/T version truck not a Silverado or a higher end truck - in the Silverados they do have the double headlights, you are refering to 2 different trucks.
