Not sure about the Starship Troopers aesthetic elements, but if it shoots straight, reliably... could be a cool plinker for a tight budget...
Good concept and great price but I don’t like whatever that is on the end of the barrel. It looks like the Winchester wildcat. I doubt it’s put together as well as a 10/22 but looks like a good starter or training rifle
I might have to get one just to take apart and play around with. Great if it would accept any ruger parts, like stocks.

If somebody made a $99 knock off of a Ruger 1022 but the pistol version like a charger --- I might buy one just so that I could have the flexibility of changing it from a rifle to a pistol and back again.
Has a disclaimer that it causes cancer. I’d avoid this like the plague. 
I have the TM22 Feather & it's super reliable & accuracy is the best I've seen with all the 22 rifles I have owned. Not sure if the $99 model has a threaded barrel, but the Feather is somewhat AR like. Threaded barrel, left side charging, removeable carry handle. Now $169.00 at PSA. I added the scope.
