Lol mine did that on shot number 1 or 2 with a case split in half. Used a mosin cleaning rod and hammered it out. Been reliable since. Keep us posted if you have any more issues!

do not use wood dowel!!!! dowels today are not your dads hardwood -- they are softer and can splinter causing a real jam -- you can use one for a lite tap, if no go use a metal rod - wrap it with tape if you like -
You.can buy oak dowels at Home Depot.
