9mm suppressor host

I’m not a Glock fanboy be any means, don’t even own one but how are they for suppressor hosts?

Glock 17 Gen 3 with LWD threaded barrel (the cheap one).

AAC tirant 9.

I have about 500 rounds through this one - everything from 115 grains to 147. Super and subs. About half of it was Freedom Munitions (not good ammo IMO) and i even put some high quality hornady critical defense / duty rounds down the pipe.

No issues what so ever other than the can needing to be screwed back down every 30 rounds or so. Welders glove FTW!

Thanks! I was considering a threaded barrel for my rock island, I know it’s not a high end 1911 but I love it and it’s a tack driver! Any recommendations on a 9mm 1911 barrel for it?

Whichever barrel you get you'll want to have it fitted. I would just take it over to Andy at Georgia Firing Line and let him get a barrel he recommends and install it. He is good with 1911 stuff.

My gen 4 Glock 19 has been flawless with my Obsidian, haven't had to change a thing other than a threaded barrel. Could use a little weaker spring if I wanted to run FM Hush 165gr, just not enough power to cycle reliably, but it's quiet enough with the Fiocchi 158gr I mainly shoot.

G34 with LW barrel, and Scorpion Evo. Both are ran with AAC TiRant 45. No problems to report with either.
