A buddy and I shot AK 47 and VZ 2008 today

I went to the range with an old friend today. He has never been a gun enthusiast like me but has always owned a few. We took a range trip with a few rifles today. I found it interesting that between a WASR 10-63 and a VZ2008 he much preferred the VZ. The VZ does have a fixed stock not the original folder.

No deep analytics just how he liked the feel, recoil and line of sight.

Any personal comparisons?

No I don't have either for sale so this is not bait for me selling or trading. Or is that for sail?

I do like the VZ very much it's so light but seems tamer to shoot.

I like my VZ a lot better than my ak both are full stock!

VZ is great, but not a lot of options for upgrades and replacement parts, plus the mags only work with the vz. Over all i think its a better rifle, but I have sold all my VZs, but still have AK. Both great weapon types.

I have the Czechpoint VZ58"s they are fantastic.

I love my AK's too, but there is just something different about the VZ's. Very smooth.
