A/C temps

I have wanted to get a blower for just never have. My wife is afraid to leave any remnants of embers in it when we go to bed so you have to plan your fire accordingly. Haven't had a fire in it in years. I cut down a river birch in my yard and she hand selected the logs to put in the fire place for decoration.
“Miss BangBang” is skinny as a rail and is really cold natured. She loves the wood stove because I can get the house up to 80 degrees in the Winter no matter how cold it is outside. I’m MISERABLE with it that hot in the house but she’s happy so I’m happy.

I’ll load it slap FULL and close the air dampers right before we go to bed and let it do a slow burn over night. When I get up the next morning it will still be 70+ degrees in the house.

I would be scared to leave anything burning over night with an open front, but with a wood stove you just close the door and adjust the air dampers to keep the fire from getting too hot and you’re good to go.
