Retired 10-31-2021 with 31years 6 months Major got POAB, County retirement, social security and stocks and other investments!

8 years in, is it worth me getting POAB and buying back 5 years? I was dumb and didn’t set it up after leaving my first department.

Best money you ever spent! You can start drawing with 30 years paid in and first year you’ll draw more than it cost for 30 .

Well I’ll set it up then. My current retirement is an absolute joke, so I’m glad it’s not too late for me to get into POAB
