A failed attempt to have a rational discussion of gun values

accessories - it's just like with motorcycles. slapping a bunch of parts onto your bike/AR doesn't add value. best thing to do is strip everything you can off of it, sell the parts individually, then sell the stripped down unit for a good price. it's rare that the buyer want the bike/AR exactly how its currently set up.

what I really want to know though, is which is more overpriced: Glock or Kel-tec?

You guys would **** bricks if you saw what "Off roster" pistols sell for here in California.

Sig P226 MK25 9mm without the LCI and Mag disco goes for $1200-$1300 here...

My PPQ 4" 9mm with 800rds down the pipe would STILL sell in a heartbeat for $900-1000.

It's insane...

Yes, yes it is. When I left CA, I sold my Uzi pistol, SAM-7K, Micro Draco, and a bunch of other off-roster stuff and made out like a bandit. PPK/s prices seem to have gone through the roof... VP9's for $1000... crazy.

^^ there are listings for MP Shield in 45 for $1000-$1200, smoking crack!!!

guess it's a matter of supply and demand. I still drop by Calguns from time to time and definitely don't regret moving

Yeah, what can you do. There seem to be the same guys getting all the hot pistols into the state. I suspect via interfamilial gifting. Well it is what it is...

I get my best off roster deals on consignment shelves.

Just one simple question though,

What right does anyone have in this great country of ours to dictate what price a person values or should sell their private property at?

No one is telling anyone what price to sell their items at, I'm sure no one on here has bought a car without first checking the value through a trusted source, likewise most people check the values before listing cars, same concept
