A little help?

Anybody know if there are any companies that makes an A2 style 20" upper w/ a carbine gas system? I had a bushmaster like that but it had a rifle system and frankly I found it to be a bit less reliable than the carbines I had, but d*** was it a shooter. Wantin to take the dive on another AR build and this will be my next one probably. Thanks dudes

You'd have to get it custom made. If you had problems with a 20" and a rifle gas system, there was a problem with that individual gun. It is universally accepted that the rifle system is the most reliable and easiest to shoot.

I wonder how that setup would handle the extra dwell, you'd be pressurizing the gas port for a while with the extra 4" barrel length. maybe a mid-length would be better if you didnt want to use a rifle length.
