Reminds me of a Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix (female) and a big black male cat I used to have. They would eat together, and that cat would lick her from head to toe, and she would just lay there and enjoy it.
Someone dropped a kitten off on my porch at night in 21 degree weather late one night. My Rottie immediately took to it and started treating it like it was hers
