Sent to me by a buddy. That’s gonna be difficult to install.

On the subject of shims. I found a guy in Michigan that sells packs of shims for everything you can imagine. I ordered some extras for my parts/ tool box. The two crush washers just kills me.

Stole from a FB Armorer’s page. A Ruger AR receiver, shipped to a dealer as a fully finished receiver. Doesn’t look quite done to me.

That's the "Heavy Duty" model with thicker side walls for durability.

What's amazing is how many people touched this AFTER the mistake was made and it still wasn't caught.

Guy bought a used upper chambered in .450 Bushmaster. Tried pulled it apart, and didn’t have the proper tools to hold it. To make matters worse, the barre nut was installed dry, and overtorqued.

Customer bent the receiver attempting to remove the barrel nut.

With liberal use of penetrating oil and heat, I was able to finally bust it loose, but it was a toughie.
