Forgive me if this has already been posted...
Happened to stop by after the show this afternoon, almost everyone back by the gun display had been, all of us talking about prices... ammo specifically , guy behind counter was telling us that when they ARE getting the "good stuff" it doesn't even make it back there, it's being kept at the service desk- limit 3 boxes, but only 1 box per brand/caliber
saying how there's a line every morning before the doors open
now to the good part
I'm walking out and i see something
Remington .223 (7 boxes ) limit 1 box
one of the guys in front of me in line had been in the back talking with us was in line in front of me, i asked about limit, and girl behind counter explained their new policy
this Nice Gentlemen pays for his stuff and asks me "are you paying with cash?"- yes i am
he steps back around behind me and says, if you want another i'll buy it for you
no it's not a super deal, but way better than the show's prices
nicest part was meeting someone kind enough to help out, and then a very interesting conversation in the parking lot afterwards

it wasn't asked for, wasn't assumed , and i think we all can do something like this once in a while, doesn't cost us a dime to be friendly

went to a pawn shop in town today, 500 rnds .223 was marked $849.99
can it get worse???
