Academy's fails.

While in Athens today stopped at Academy. Got shown a firearm I was interested in and asked for the trigger lock to be removed to test the trigger. Employee said they couldn't do it. Someone recently had bullets in their pocket he said.New store policy. Have never purchased a firearm there and now never will. Thanks DICKS.

Sorry, but I have worked in Athens and seen the people that sometimes frequent that gun counter .... watched two get turned down on the background just the other day ..... unless you want a background before looking at the weapon I’m good with the policy and think it’s actually pretty smart.

I see both the sides of it, but I am still not buying unless I check out the trigger. A bad guy/thief with bullets in his pocket should get "counter persons carry", in their face.
