I'm looking to practice my skills in the stipple game. Looking for some no/low cost AR grips to practice on.

If you're in the Cumming/Alpharetta area, would love to take any take-off grips you have laying around.

If you're not in my area, I could be willing to pay some (reasonable) shipping charges if you have a couple of grips.

Did you find the polymer type similar to a pistol frame? I've heard they melt quite differently.

They melt differently but you can still get a hang of how to do it.
