ADVANTAGE ARMS Glock 17/22 Conversion Kit

I've been starting to toy with the idea of getting one of these kits. Thanks for the review.

Crazy thing is, advantage arms is based in the town I grew up in. Hmm...wonder if I could visit the place next time I'm visiting my folks and see about a discount :)

I have one of these for my Glock 19 and it functions perfectly. I have put over 1000 round thru it with maybe 3-4 malfunctions in the beginning. Highly recommended.

We use these extensively training new shooters and getting lots of inexpensive repetitions using the exact same sight picture, trigger press, mag. release, etc. as with our primaries. Plus they are fun & accurate.

I made the shorter wood dowel plug for the mags and got them to hold 13 and have been using the kit in Pistol matches mounted on both a 34 or 35 lower, also works with any full size,. I did add a Hiviz fiber optic front sight to speed up target acquisition a bit and won 1st at one match using it. Great kit for inexpensive shooting with the current prices of ammo, which I reload all but the 22's. So fart I have only used CCI ammo in competitions but it works with many others.

Hey guys I picked up G26/27 followers and plugs directly from Advantage Arms. I have reliable 15 round magazines now. I had to carefully run a 25/64" drill bit down the magazine channel to allow the follower to rise up and activate the slide lock. Go here for G26/27 magazine parts http://www.advantagearms.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?

The new detailed link to making >10 round magazines (13, 14 and 15 rounds).

I have used mine in competitions in 22LR class and with a fiber optic front sight added, it kicked butt never FTF or coughed up any ahirballs using CCI nickle hill round nose at $6,99 per 100

I have one that is a bit picky on ammo but I think it needs to be shot more to be worked in....

ONE note....these kits are GEN specific, meaning a gen3 kit won't work with a gen 4 gun and vice versa.

Great review and a great review...
