Adventure Outdoors BOGO on 1911's: FAIL

It says "check all firearms" and I do. "Yup it is still there…proceed."

Just got it. Priceless!!!

I did the same but made the mistake once asking if I could compare my Ruger LC9 (the one in my pocket) to another pistol I was looking at. The salesman apologetically told me he needed to take it from me. The next man, the one that escorted me to the door was not so apologetic. Pretty sure that was the last time I went to AO.

My biggest beef with those idjits is that they want to take my gun when I walk in there. This is a gun store, right? No other gun store that I know of does that. I haven't been to a gun show in a long time for the same reason.
Its the same reason your not allowed to take a kid into an orphanage or a puppy into a shelter, it makes the other puppy's sad.

They told me some bs about somebody shooting in the store but I am sure we would have heard about that on the news.

I've heard this but I was at the old site years ago when someone had a ND in the parking lot. Cashier came running though the store asking if there was a doctor on site

I can walk in an Academy open carrying in Snellville. And that's not even a gunstore. I bought a gun ONCE at Adventure Outdoors, and never again.

If anyone is interested in the deal, they are doing it at Hi-Caliber with no BS. Just has to be a strait up purchase. The guys in there are great to me. They get a little busy so you need to be patient but good people.

the academy in athens asked me to either conceal my gun or go put it in the car. but they did say it very nicely. i just untucked my shirt
