Adventure Outdoors Trade ins and Used M&Ps

Went in there Wed. and was in and out in under 30 minutes. And I took my time looking around. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I guess I'm the odd man out.
I have bought three guns there. And it's almost a two hr drive. Their everyday prices are bleh, but the sales can be killer. $350 for a police trade in compensated glock. $300 off my mpa carbine. Well worth it to me. However, that extra paperwork that isn't a 4473 but just for AO, however a minor inconvenience, is complete BS.

Same here I've bought three guns from them. Not sure what the extra form was about. I figured it was because I bought a used firearm...I couldn't say...Nothing requiring personal info so not a big deal to me.

They are having a big sale on LE trade in Glock 22's right now. Sale ends after tomorrow if I'm not mistaken. $299...A great price. Gen 3. Most are in very good condition and they have NS, although pretty dim...

DO NOT GO TO AO on a FRIDAY evening or SATURDAY unless you have water and rations. Everyone comes there the. I've bought great deals on used guns there but you have to go during the week after 7:30. The place is a ghost town by then and you can get in and out in under 20 minutes if you find what you are looking for, have a CWL and cash. Was just there this past Monday and there was absolutely NOBODY in the store. The parking lot was so empty it looked like the guys still there working had walked to the place.

Just my $0.02

Actually, I was there on a rainy Saturday last weekend and even though the place was packed it didn't take any longer to go through the process than at Cherokee.

AO isn't the PITA it used to be at the small store, or even when they first moved into the big store. They've staffed up and the people there are generally as helpful as anyone I've run into anywhere else.

Will you get bad advice there? Sure, that's a gun store staple. Will the help try to move things along if it's busy? Of course, but I don't know any store that doesn't.

They may have issues in other areas, but the complaints about them taking too long or not serving people really don't apply anymore from everything I've seen.

(and no, I don't work there or anything).

Uh, aside from the dumb blond that spelled the last name of my friend wrong on a background check(permit expired). He called for a week straight. Guess someone finally looked into it.
