I cleaned it when it first came in the mail, it was pretty grimy from storage. I've been periodically wiping it down with a 50/50 mix of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits as it looks dry.

She’s gonna be nice for sure. I’ve had success with raw linseed oil when a stock is super dry. It really helps but it takes a day or two for each coat to dry
