advice for growing grass

thats right you read right . . . ok seriously my back yard has some muddy spots and im tired of the animals dragging it in every time it rains so i want to do something about it this year and was looking for advice on planting grass seed as far as what does best down here and around what time i should try to plant it

All I know is that you gotta separate the male plants from the female plants so the female plants will grow buds. The big buds is what it's ALL about.

Airiate the yard. Plant high quality seed and not to much fertilizer. Put straw on top when your done. And do it now lol

That's all I've done for the past 28 years all over Georgia. I need more info. I'll pm my number.

Im just looking to fill out maybe .5 of an acre. Its got pecan trees so gets some shade. Fair amount of grass already there i just want to fill it out some.

Pennington or Kentucky 31 I think should be fine. Fescue
