Age of S&W revolver

Can one of the S&W gurus tell me the age of an almost pristine Model 60 Stainless 38 S&W SPL with a serial # AFM9XXX. The gun has never been fired and just trying to find out how old it is.

Thanks, knew it was older with the firing pin on the hammer.

Regardless of the year, the M60 is a great Smith J frame.

I cleaned it earlier and I think it was the first time a nylon brush has ever been down the barrel and cylinders. There were 4 rounds of 38spl that were about the same age as the gun in the cylinders.
