I'm Familiar with Eotechs but have never used an Aimpoint- how does the Comp M3 compare to an Eotech XPS2?

Get the Aimpoint. It is that much better...
I would get the Aimpoint.
Aimpoint is much better on batteries, and generally considered more durable.
Eotech has the 1 moa center for for fine work, especially useful with a magnifier. Also you can get models with bullet drop compesators. On an aimpoint all you get is a 2 or 4 moa dot.

aimpoint, maybe try one and see how you like it before you buy one. or maybe buy a cheaper version like a primary arms and see how you like it then buy aM3 and sell the primary arms if you decide you like it.
This, you couldn't give me an Eotech after my experience with them in Afghanistan.
eotech is so far distant 2nd that it doesnt even count,..
Aimpoint has the superior battery life, Eotech has the superior retical. Both are good, and I own both. Which is better, I dunno. The Eotech seems to be faster, the Aimpoint has no battery worries.
