Well we were fine without chinese ammo because we had russian ammo.
Im not sure how many other combloc nations have tula sized factories to crank out the volume to make up for this ban. I mean we are talking ~half of all ammo sold in the US.
It will be a long long time until production starts to match demand so its no surprise that ak prices are dropping like flies
Inexpensive steel ammo has a great market and I can't see why other countries can't tool up to start filling the possible void on 7.62X39. They don't have to create another market, they just have to fill a void.

i hope youre right but im not optimistic about folks tooling up production to that capacity anytime soon
