Customizing a AMD65 to give it a Khyber Look

Couldn't find the adapter plate to do the triangle folder AMD so slapped some new furniture on it.
Kvar made an adapter a very long time ago but it still didn't look right. Best solution is swapping trunnions
Then you have to weld in a filler to get rid of the gap where the hinge was.
I was looking for a Krebs or Bumpski adapter but neither are in production currently and have dried up on the secondary market
True. Totally overlooked the fact that amd's have their own rear end.

Khyber build is coming along nicely. More and more parts arriving daily. It's about to get funky.....
Really diggin the handguard conversion. Gonna have a unique look if that’s all you did too it.
I built off one of those AMD kits from Classic awhile back. I ran into a few issues with it that had to be addressed. There is another member here who also had some serious issues with his. If you would like to shoot me a pm maybe I can share our experiences with it and save you a headache.
