I personally prefer the Yugoslav-Serbs but a wasr is fine works just as well just seems more loose, likely due to the lack of mag dimple, canted sights are common on both but maybe just a tad bit more on the wasr. Although I'm sure you can shoot these things past 300y they are really made for the less trained soldier shooting at sub 100y

Sold mine too, had my dream ak and caught a bunch of us palm mags on sale, hated letting it go but I crashed my truck and had to get it fixed. Maybe one day I'll get another one and I want one in 5.45
