I will say I have not held a WASR.... Have an N-PAP and the O-PAP... O-PAP is Great.
Have the Vepr... unconverted... Still have to do that...
Picked up a MAK 90 a couple months ago..... Beautiful... Need to take it to the range...

Sell some of those milsurps and get a AES-10B. 23" barrel. I joke. WASR would be your ticket.

Go with the best you can find and afford. Keep the milsurps unless you wanna sell something to me, and love on some of the worlds best military rifles. I love the AR too, but my fondness for the ak rounds like jelly on a biscuit in the morning, its hard to beat.
