Bama should have lost to Texas and to A&M and even die hard Bama slurpers know it though of course won't admit it. Bama simply ain't all that THIS year. Doesn't take away from what they've been. Only question this year is who is all that. Pretty open comp at the moment.Dawgs defense should limit their scoring though, but I thought bama defense would do that too.
I've never met anyone who hated South Carolina. That's like hating Vanderbilt. What's the point?Oh 100%. I'm a die hard UGA, but even I'll be the first to admit that Saban is the greatest coach in college football. Makes me happy to see him throw a bitch fit on the sidelines and then be escorted out of the stadium quickly by the cops though. Especially after losing to an SEC east team. Except for South Carolina. I'll cheer for COVID before I cheer for South Carolina.
Years ago (don't remember the exact year) I attended a night game in Sanford Stadium against USC. We were in the nose bleeds in the middle of a bunch of USC fans. I had one of the worst migraines I've ever had in my life and they kept screaming U S C, U S C, U S C because they were winning. Kept UGA out of the end zone the entire game. It was a miserable experience. That coupled with the fact that Spurrier was their coach for a while galvanized my hatred for them.I've never met anyone who hated South Carolina. I was going to mention Spurrier. I couldn't stand that guy. Of course I had a lot of company. That was until he went to South Carolina. And then I got a kick out of him. He was funny. Of course he was also harmless.Years ago (don't remember the exact year) I attended a night game in Sanford Stadium against USC. We were in the nose bleeds in the middle of a bunch of USC fans. My college, McKendree in Illinois was up 49-28 at half, ended up losing 63-62. It wasn't that good of a day.Always fun to watch a Nick fit.
Well played Vols. And in dramatic but cool as ice fashion.
Yesterday was a good day in college football.
I never like Spurrier either until I watched the SEC special about him, then I liked him. At one point during the documentary they referenced his father who was a baptist minister and coached Steve’s little league baseball team. The first day of practice he asked all the boys to raise their hand if they thought how you played the game was more important than winning at all cost. One boy raised his hand and Steve’s preacher father looked at him and said “son I think you need to find you another team to play for.” LOL, sounds like Steve was a chip off the old block.I was going to mention Spurrier.
