I should have posted this awhile ago, but I've been using the Classifieds section a lot and figured I should finally post in the Intro section.

My lovely wife just recently started at UGA in Athens in a new position and a new carrier and everyone has been very welcoming to us. We have just recently moved from Ohio, we lived there 10 years and before that Alaska but the cold was too much for her. Yes, I was born and raised in Alaska and most of the TV shows are somewhat realistic except "The Bush People", it's a big comedy show to most Alaskans. I also did spent sometime in the Marine Corps, and went to the old Navy School here in Georgia in the late 90s.

Hunting, fishing, hiking and guns are huge hobbies of mine and I am looking forward to getting out in the woods.

By far this site/forum has been the most welcoming so far. Armslist is huge in Ohio but here not so much.
