Still waiting for those $250 SW 638's. Heard a rumor they had them on sale for that price over the summer.

Yeah, they had the 637 and 638 for $299. I picked up a 637. Then a week later I think they had a special for $250 one day. That was a great deal even at $300.

Exactly. Maybe it’s not your EDC or Range Favovite. For whatever reason. But some of these deals on 40s, particularly trade in are awesome. A truck gun? Stash it around your house? Because you are ghey? (Ha, joke)

I’m gonna get me a trade in 40, load it with some hollow points. Although to a recoil whuss who doesn’t get to the range, a Shield in 40 may not be the best choice.

Some don’t understand physics very well. Bigger heavier bullet traveling at the same or greater speed = greater energy.

Little to no ballistic advantage over 9mm, more expensive, less rounds on board. The best thing about 40 is cheap police trade-ins, $300 Glock 40 cals ftw.
