Seen similar on lots of websites....ammo, mags, accesories.... almost seems like the gov’t boosting sales.....
Sales tactics. Trying to scare everyone into buying.
I was at AO last weekend and I noticed they were much busier than I'd seen in a while. A lot of the 'normal' crowd, but I did notice a lot of the buyers looked young, and they all had rifles of some kind. A friend who went up to Cherokee noticed the same thing.
I'm guessing a lot of 18-20 year olds are using their tax refunds to get rifles now, while they still can. Of all the law changes proposed, that's the only one (IMHO) that's sure to sail through Congress.

I have no idea since I haven't bought any ARs in a while, but figured it was worth asking. I feel like I am turning into one of those "old guys" that's like "well you should have seen this coming back in 2008 when the shelves were cleared out."

I think there's a 'mini-panic' happening, mostly among the 18-20 crowd but Trump's statements and the way the media portrayed them definitely made some folks start thinking 'maybe it's time to stock up'.
